Located in the historic Bayview (Langley) area of South Whidbey Island (approx. 45 min from Seattle), the 100+ year-old Wayfarer Farm hosts elegant events for up to 100 guests. The farm features open, rolling grounds, orchard, and has two barns to accomodate your guests. One whitewashed and bright for a possible intimate ceremony or reception. The other barn, complete with an exposed beam ceiling, antique bar and indoor/outdoor space is perfect for cocktail hour and dancing.

Guest Capacity: Up to 100 guests.
Season: Beginning of June to mid-September.
Rental Duration: Full day (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
Reception: 5 acres of open, rolling grass with an old-growth orchard providing a natural canopy.
White-Washed Barn: For an intimate ceremony.
Outdoor Ceremony Site: Under cherry/apple trees.
Cocktail Area: Indoor/outdoor space in a separate barn with a bar.

Venue PricinG
We host weddings at Wayfarer from June through September. Package pricing is for a 1 full-day rental at Wayfarer on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
Our package at Wayfarer includes all setup, breakdown, wedding coordination, tables, and chairs, we are very hands-on! We like our couples to relax on their special day and let us take care of all the hard work.
2024/2025 Rates
Fridays and Sundays: $6500 plus tax.
Saturdays: $8000 plus tax.
Package Includes
Venue Access: From 12:00 pm-10:00 pm.
Rehearsal Access: Coordinated rehearsal.
Furniture and Decor: Farm tables (custom-made for dinner). Wood vineyard chairs for farm tables. Wood folding chairs for the ceremony. Bistro chairs and tables set up throughout the venue. String lights over the dance floor. Tents. Outdoor heaters. Fire pit with Adirondack chairs.
Brand New Built-in Audio System: For ceremony, dance floor, cocktail area, dinner, and toasts.
Lawn Games: Bean bag toss, ladder golf, and giant Jenga.
Wedding Coordination: Day-of coordinator and team for coordination of all vendors (caterer, photographer, cake, etc.). Coordination and overall styling of the wedding (set up and breakdown of event, collection of cards and gifts, ceremony site, guest sign-in area, cocktail area, beverage table, lawn games). Day-of coordination from vendor arrival and first look to overseeing ceremony, reception, and departure of bride and groom.
Set-Up and Break-Down: All set-up and break-down of the venue, including tables, chairs, guest sign-in area, general clean-up, trash, and recycling.
Parking: Provided for approximately 35 vehicles. Shuttle service is available on the island for an additional cost.
Restrooms: Provided.
Dedicated Staff: Ensures everything runs as planned on the day of the event.
Catering
Must have a licensed professional caterer. Preferred vendor list available. Open to food trucks (check with us before booking).
Bartenders
Must have a licensed bartender ($550, provided by us, not included in the venue fee). You can bring your own alcohol.
Permits and Insurance
Banquet permit: $10 (no corkage fee).
Liability insurance: Approximately $185 (can be purchased through www.wedsafe.com).
Optional Extras
Mismatched or white china (additional fee).
Floral package (additional fee).
MUSIC
Brand new sound system included, we can be your DJ! Since the venue is outside, you can have musicians but there are noise restrictions. Inquire about noise restrictions regarding entertainment options.
Noise Ordinance
Island County noise ordinance at 10:00 pm; all guests and vendors must be off the venue by this time.
